Job Description Technical Support Specialist Job Description: Join a high-performing, tight-knit team in a fast-growing start up. Our company, Practical Dental Solutions, builds software that helps streamline dental practice operations with well-designed, real-time apps. As a Technical Support Specialist you'll onboard and set our customers for a long-term success with our software. You will install, setup and support clients on key software features. Teach them how to maximize product capabilities and provide post-sales support. Once you learn the product and get the hang of delivering the standard training, you will use your interpersonal skills and understanding of client's current workflow and processes to act as an expert and provide best practices, strategies, and tips for successful implementation. You will also be responsible for monitoring our Support Ticketing system insuring that all of your tickets are being resolved. As a member of the Technical Support team, you'll have the opportunity to work with all corners of the organization and find projects that align with your personal interests. You may have the opportunity to contribute to sales, content marketing, PR, web design, technical writing, product development, and analytics. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter and energetic relationship builder with superior communication and interpersonal skills. Strong computer knowledge and excellent writing skills are required. Previous experience with dentistry or dental software is required. Job Responsibilities: This position will participate in all phases of implementation of YAPI dental automation software, including: 1. Installing/Configuring software remotely 2. Supporting Clients with any technical issues or problems that may arise 3. Understanding client' (offices) current workflow and processes 4. Providing over-the-phone technical support 5. Designing learning solutions that help clients use their software more effectively 7. Actively participate in content development for a wide variety of deliverables, such as training manuals, blog posts, and self-paced tutorials. 8. Manage and resolve tickets opened by users Ideal candidate is a self-starter and energetic relationship builder who is able to work independently. Requirements: 1.
