Job Description We are currently filling an opening for an experienced Professional Services Technician in Irvine, CA. We are seeking a well-rounded, highly motivated, self-starting professional with outstanding customer service skills. The Professional Services Technician role requires advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and experience in a fast-paced, engaging environment. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively in the English language while being organized and detail-oriented. They must have the ability to efficiently solve technical issues, including but not limited to: desktops, switches, firewalls, Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and networks, all while in a client based environment. As a Professional Services Technician, you would play a strategic role in helping our clients leverage technology to improve their business. You will interact directly with a portfolio of clients, and discover opportunities for top notch technical solutions. You will solve business challenges with technology, and provide outstanding customer service while doing so! Projects and Daily Duties will include: · Installing and configuration of Windows Server 2012 R2 · Setting up Active Directory and DNS · Setting up workstations and imaging systems · Domain Migrations · Office 365 Deployments and Migrations · Exchange 2013/2016 Installation and Upgrades · Sophos Wireless Installation · Sophos Firewall Installation · HP Server Hardware Installation · Work with internal teams to implement client solutions. · Steer the engineering teams to success, and lead incident escalation response. · Regularly collaborate with the sales and account management teams. Help build our business: · Be part of a growing team to improve our client services. · Work on strategic opportunities to build internal solutions. One or more currently valid certifications in the following, or equivalent experience: · VMware Certified Professional · Cisco Certified (CCENT/CCNA) · Microsoft Certified (MCSA/MCSE) Qualifications: Five or more years of experience at a single employer Excellent customer service communication skills (both verbal and written) Experience with network and server setup and configuration, using industry recognized standards. · Experience implementing, and maintaining, backup solutions/disaster recovery · Windows Server 2008-2016 · Experience with virtualization, specifically Vmware ESXi · Experience with DNS, AD and GP · Remote monitoring and automation platforms · Have a passion for technology, and desire for continued growth · Ability to use good judgment to effectively triage & prioritize work · A willingness to share knowledge and collaborate with the team The appropriate candidate will be able to lift to 50 pounds. Must have reliable transportation, valid Driver’s License, and auto insurance. Must also be able to pass full Background Check and Drug Screen.
