Job Description Our client in the service industry is looking for a Accounting Manager to join their team in the Orange County. Job Description: Oversee general accounting functions Prepare financial statements, G/L and fixed assets Assist in resolving account discrepancies Oversee revenue by verifying transaction information Oversee GL integrity Assist in preparation of payroll and expense accruals Perform closing monthly and annual reports Help to create forecasts and budgets Requirements: Strong knowledge of GAAP Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills (or Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Able to communicate with professionals at all levels Able to work independently and take initiative Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines Able to adapt to changing priorities Detail-oriented A team player Strong work ethic Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience Company Description Century Group is a premier recruiting and interim services firm focused exclusively on professional, mid-management and executive level roles in Accounting and Finance.
